    The good news is, the threaded socket on the tool body is not damaged, so I'm thinking I will be able to buy a new threaded stud of some sort to replace the cracked handle. My handle is now bent/cracked after one use. As a result, I had to apply more force than should be necessary to extract the chain pin. So, I ended up using the rivet tip for my extraction process. I later went back and reviewed the instructions, and honestly, the photos are such poor resolution, I feel like anyone could miss this part. This is the first "real" chain break tool I've ever owned so it was an easy mistake to make. I read the directions from end to end, but I didn't look at the photos close enough to determine the difference between the "extractor pin" and the "rivet tip". I accept partial responsibility for this failure. The instructions that come with this tool are not crystal clear. (Unless someone demonstrates why it's no better) If I had it to do over again, I would buy the DID chain breaker, and ultimately, when this tool fails.and I'm convinced it will.I will THEN buy the DID tool. I suppose I'm writing a negative review of this product.
